Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable software solutions using industry-aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
- Build and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, database technologies, and software engineering best practices.
- Evolve infrastructure and deployment pipelines to support robust, secure, and reliable digital solution delivery.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define requirements and solution strategies.
- Participate in code reviews, automated testing, knowledge sharing, and technology communities.
- Apply secure coding practices, manage risk and controls, and support compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
- Contribute to microservices, distributed systems, cloud, containerization, event-driven architecture, and production support activities.
- Guide and support team members or act as a technical advisor as an individual contributor, depending on the position's leadership responsibilities.
Requirements
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and application programming interface development.
- Experience with Angular or modern JavaScript frameworks, including component-based architecture and reactive forms.
- Knowledge of SQL, Oracle or PostgreSQL, JPA/Hibernate, and data modelling.
- Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and Git.
- Kafka or event-driven architecture experience is highly valued.
- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, distributed systems, Agile delivery, DevOps practices, or production support is highly valued.
- Ability to apply technical expertise, resolve problems, communicate complex information, and influence decisions within the area of expertise.
