Responsibilities
- Integrate additional bookmakers and trading venues into the platform.
- Design, implement, and maintain production distributed systems for high-throughput trading.
- Optimize latency-critical components and improve trading safety, correctness, performance, and stability.
- Support the platform’s historical data repository and wider trading and research efforts.
- Contribute to technical standards, coding guidelines, observability, security, and build pipelines.
- Collaborate on technical details, architecture, and longer-term platform strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative or technical subject such as mathematics, electrical engineering, physics, or computer science.
- At least 2 years of experience building mission-critical distributed systems where throughput, correctness, and availability are hard requirements.
- Production experience with at least one systems language, such as Go, C++, Rust, Java, or C#.
- Experience delivering products in small, fast-moving startup teams.
- Ability to reason about architectural trade-offs and design clean, evolvable service boundaries.
- Competence with AWS, Linux, and build pipelines.
- Fluent written and spoken English and effective technical collaboration skills.
- Trading, market-making, or exchange experience is preferred.
