Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Create and maintain clean, efficient, reusable code.
- Design and architect cloud-native applications and participate across the full software development lifecycle.
- Test, troubleshoot, and debug applications to ensure reliability and smooth functionality.
- Communicate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide progress updates.
- Mentor junior developers through guidance, best practices, and code reviews.
- Drive continuous improvement of development processes and workflows.
- Lead team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices, including code review, refactoring, testing, and troubleshooting support.
- Establish validation standards for AI-assisted outputs, including secure coding, peer review, and automated testing.
- Promote responsible and compliant use of AI-assisted development tools, including data sensitivity and secure input/output handling.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in JavaScript concepts with proficient advanced experience.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and ES6+ syntax.
- Ability to write clean, testable JavaScript code and familiarity with unit testing.
- Experience working in dynamic, agile environments with geographically distributed teams.
- Ability to promptly address customer needs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience leading effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools for coding, code review, test acceleration, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to establish team expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Experience coaching engineers on safe and compliant adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices.
- Preferred proficiency with React and React Native using TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Preferred native application development experience with Kotlin and Swift across Android and iOS.
- Preferred understanding of REST APIs and GraphQL.
- Preferred experience with Detox, Appium, WebdriverIO, or Playwright for end-to-end testing.
- Preferred modern web development experience, including responsive design and performance optimization.
- Preferred hands-on experience with design systems, component libraries, and consistent UI/UX implementation across large-scale applications.
