Base Salary
$210k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop a technical strategy for the team.
- Create highly scalable real-time microservices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
- Identify when to replace and rebuild legacy systems.
- Support and mentor other engineers in the team.
- Participate in an on-call rotation with the team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to drive features and assess timelines.
- Maintain code quality in existing applications.
- Create solutions that enhance team efficiency.
- Become a subject matter expert for team ownership areas.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience in data analysis and translating results into business recommendations.
- Experience with data-driven applications at scale.
- Strong coding skills in Java and knowledge of modern programming languages.
- Experience with AWS and other cloud infrastructures.
- Hands-on experience in designing and building microservices.
- Strong knowledge of data structures and object-oriented design.
- Ability to balance engineering improvements with business needs.
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
