Responsibilities
- Implement technology solutions across the software development lifecycle.
- Translate requirements into technical designs, application code, UI layouts, and functioning components.
- Create and execute unit tests, analyze defects, remediate errors, and enforce code standards.
- Design and lead complex software solutions while overseeing software development lifecycle quality and timeliness.
- Optimize system performance and scalability, lead code reviews and testing practices, and resolve defects and bottlenecks.
- Lead UI/UX enhancements and collaborate with design and development teams to improve usability.
- Provide technical supervision, peer coaching, feedback, on-call escalation guidance, and mentoring.
- Develop or maintain applications using multiple programming languages and support team initiatives such as GitHub, Copilot, or AWS migration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- At least 5 years of related experience across the software development lifecycle, full-stack development, frontend and backend development, and UI/UX engineering.
- Eight or more years of related work experience preferred.
- Proficiency in at least two, ideally three, programming languages.
- Experience with Java, JavaScript, Microsoft Azure Functions, Microsoft Azure SQL, full-stack development, AWS development, React.js, Angular, and Flutter SDK.
- Ability to work autonomously, provide technical supervision to peers, demonstrate financial services and marketing domain knowledge, and drive team initiatives.
