Responsibilities
- Lead technical strategy and translate complex PAM and network access problems into modular designs.
- Design, architect, and optimize connector plugins for databases and network infrastructure.
- Develop secure, performant backend services in Go and lead constructive code reviews.
- Collaborate with global technical leads on major architectural decisions and product alignment.
- Mentor P2/P3 engineers and guide the local engineering pod.
- Participate in global on-call and product support rotations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software engineering experience with technical leadership or Principal/Staff-level individual contributor experience.
- Significant Privileged Access Management or Identity and Access Management experience; resource discovery, credential rotation, or agentless communication experience is preferred.
- Strong experience with SSH, Telnet, SNMP, router and switch configurations, or database infrastructure integration.
- Extensive experience building high-scale secure backend services, distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven workflows.
- Strong proficiency in Go or deep backend expertise in C++, Rust, or Java with willingness to work extensively in Go.
- Experience with AWS, including IAM, SQS, and Lambda, Kubernetes, and resilient agentless systems.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, make pragmatic trade-offs, and guide a local development team.
- Experience with enterprise security companies such as CyberArk or Delinea, graph databases such as ArangoDB, policy engines such as OPA, or autonomous remote engineering pods is an advantage.
