Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end release process for storage software and firmware.
- Design and build optimized CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact during release 'war room' phases.
- Lead cross-functional projects to improve CI and release quality.
- Continuously improve the SDLC by identifying bottlenecks.
- Communicate release status and risks to executive leadership.
- Improve the health and efficiency of HW test fleets.
- Participate in on-call duty rotations for CI and test-orchestration infrastructure.
Requirements
- 8+ years in software engineering or DevOps, with 3-5 years in a Release Management or Lead capacity.
- Expert knowledge of CI/CD orchestration tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Deep understanding of the full SDLC and branching strategies.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Strong git and codeline management skills.
- Ability to analyze system logs and perform root cause analysis.
- Experience leading incident management for high-severity issues.
