Responsibilities
- Perform QA testing of digital experiences across UI, API, and other testing phases.
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts using Java, Selenium, Cucumber, RestAssured, Postman, and related tools.
- Develop, debug, and register web services tools, REST APIs, XML-SOAP messages, and JavaScript modules across different browsers.
- Determine testing scope and approach and collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to approve test plans.
- Develop QA test strategies, methodologies, project plans, schedules, milestones, and standard processes.
- Create and execute test scenarios and cases across SIT, performance, UAT, automation, production, and validation phases.
- Track quality metrics and provide test execution, defect, and ad hoc reports to IT teams and management.
- Review test data, business processes, test environments, and entry and exit criteria for adherence to testing standards.
- Identify and mitigate complex issues, escalate risks, and coordinate resources and priorities.
- Support team development, stakeholder communication, Scrum meetings, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field, or equivalent additional work experience.
- At least six years of experience in SQA, software testing, or a related field.
- At least four years of experience with automation testing methodologies and two years with technical testing methodologies.
- At least two years of experience in software or systems programming and/or scripting.
- At least one year in an informal lead role working with technical teams.
- At least five years of experience with automated testing practices and generating test automation scripts.
- At least one year of experience debugging code and analytics tags in web or mobile applications using browser and other debugging tools.
- At least five years of experience on projects involving software development life cycles.
- Experience with testing fundamentals, Java, Selenium, Postman, Maven, Cucumber, RestAssured, UI and API automation, BDD, framework development, CI/CD, and Agile Scrum.
- Preferred experience includes web services, mobile technologies, leadership interaction, large matrixed organizations, IT vendors, technical documentation, integration technologies, virtual testing environments, healthcare testing, business systems, and data marts or data warehouses.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field and QAI, ASQ, or similar certification.
