Responsibilities
- Develop and support global quality services frameworks, QA test strategies, methodologies, standards, and project plans.
- Define testing scope, approaches, entry and exit criteria, test scenarios, test data, and test environment requirements.
- Manage and assist with test case execution across SIT, performance, UAT, automation, production, and validation phases.
- Track defects, risks, dependencies, timelines, staffing, and quality metrics, and produce execution and defect reports.
- Collaborate with development, IT, business, vendor, and leadership stakeholders to review, approve, and implement test plans.
- Automate and debug API and UI tests using Java, Karate, Selenium, Appium, and related tools.
- Analyze logs and traces to debug failures and defects.
- Support Agile software development lifecycle projects and promote technical learning and collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related field, or equivalent additional work experience.
- At least six years of SQA or software testing experience using Java.
- At least two years of Java test automation experience.
- At least two years using test management tools such as Qtest or QualityCenter.
- At least two years using defect management tools such as JIRA or Rally.
- At least two years using API testing or debugging tools such as Postman.
- At least two years working in virtual testing environments.
- At least one year in an informal lead role working with technical teams.
- Hands-on experience with testing fundamentals, Karate, Java, Selenium, Appium, API testing, and functional testing.
- Preferred experience includes CI/CD tools, code review, Perfecto, XCUITest, Espresso, Splunk, Dynatrace, integration technologies, healthcare testing, business systems, data marts or data warehouses, and Azure.
- Preferred qualifications include experience interacting with leadership, IT vendors, SDLC implementations, technical documentation, cloud environments, and a master's degree or QAI, ASQ, or similar certification.
