Base Salary

$200k - $240k/yr

Responsibilities

Own the design and operation of TwelveLabs’ MCP server and agent-to-agent integration interfaces.
Design how AI agents discover, connect to, and invoke Jockey’s retrieval and reasoning capabilities.
Build authentication and access infrastructure including OAuth, RBAC, and multi-tenant isolation.
Develop enterprise-readiness capabilities such as API-key usage tracking, rate limiting, and reliability under production load.
Partner with the research team to turn frontier video and image understanding capabilities into product surfaces.

Production experience shipping agentic or LLM-powered systems with real users and failure modes.
Understanding of retrieval, reasoning, and agent orchestration as an integrated system.
Experience owning a developer-facing or external API end-to-end, including contracts, versioning, and developer experience.
Production experience building authentication and authorization using OAuth, OIDC, RBAC, or multi-tenant isolation.
Experience with enterprise platform readiness, including trust, data protection, and reliable workflows at scale.
Versatility across the platform surface and ability to make tradeoffs across integration, access, and reliability concerns.
Experience working in a startup, hypergrowth company, or AI-first team with ambiguity and limited process.
Preferred: experience with MCP, A2A protocols, or the broader agent ecosystem.
Preferred: experience at a technically excellent hypergrowth startup.
