Responsibilities
- Design, create, maintain, prioritize, and execute automated test cases and regression suites.
- Identify test cases and scripts from requirements and map them back to the original requirements.
- Translate functional and technical requirements into manual and automated testing scenarios.
- Develop and execute automation for web, mobile, cross-browser, and Android tablet testing.
- Test RESTful APIs, relational and NoSQL databases, application performance, and SaaS functionality.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and participate in Agile ceremonies.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with architects, UX experts, product managers, and software developers.
- Mentor and guide junior developers on the team.
Requirements
- Around 6+ years of overall software QA experience and at least 5 years of test automation experience.
- Experience developing and implementing automated tests for web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency with Appium, Cypress, Pytest, and TypeScript.
- Experience testing Android tablets and mobile applications, with IoT domain experience required.
- Experience with MongoDB or other relational/NoSQL databases.
- Experience with JMeter, RESTful APIs, and API testing tools such as Postman.
- Experience integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of Android application development, scalable application design, HTTP/2.0, web performance and monitoring, OAuth 2.0, GitLab, network architecture, and server administration is preferred.
- Knowledge of Angular 16+ and Node.js is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a relevant field.
