Responsibilities
- Build and evolve loan servicing infrastructure that supports accurate, fast, and simple loan operations.
- Solve complex problems and make substantial business impact in a challenging domain.
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and weaknesses in day-to-day engineering work.
- Collaborate through pairing and cross-functional communication.
- Teach and mentor engineers, stakeholders, and company builders on technical and AI system development.
- Architect safe, maintainable custom AI solutions and smart automated systems.
Requirements
- Experience working with Ruby or Python.
- Strong fundamental programming skills.
- Ability to quickly understand complex backend systems.
- Interest or experience in relational databases, automated testing, microservices, and/or event-driven architecture.
- Ability to explain complex problems clearly, collaborate effectively, and work with initiative.
- Interest in complex mathematical problems is beneficial but not essential.
