Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and assure quality for complex application features.
- Build scalable distributed application systems, advanced RAG pipelines, and multi-agent workflows.
- Create and own AI evaluation and benchmarking frameworks for quality, reliability, and performance.
- Optimize system latency, throughput, cost efficiency, scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
- Resolve critical production issues and improve architecture, development processes, and system integration.
- Take end-to-end technical ownership of critical systems and guide design and code quality.
- Mentor less-experienced engineers and contribute to technical capability development.
- Collaborate with platform, data, AI, product, and consulting teams across global cross-functional groups.
- Optionally act as Scrum Master to support team self-organization.
Requirements
- Deep experience with distributed systems and scalable application design.
- Strong hands-on experience with LLMs, advanced RAG patterns, and agentic workflows.
- Experience with performance optimization, cost management, and troubleshooting complex production systems.
- Experience designing AI evaluation frameworks, validating model behavior, and applying agentic engineering patterns.
- Technical leadership and mentoring ability.
- Development skills in Node.js, Python, or similar technologies.
- Experience with microservice architecture and REST API-based applications.
- SAP BTP experience is a plus.
- Experience with e-invoicing is a plus, or ability to quickly learn domain-specific formats.
- Experience building AI-powered developer or customer-facing tools that make AI outputs actionable for non-technical users is a differentiator.
