Responsibilities
- Design and architect scalable AI-native application systems and components across the compliance automation pipeline.
- Build and own evaluation and benchmarking frameworks for AI quality, reliability, and performance.
- Implement human-validation gates and curate grounded knowledge for SAP Business AI agents.
- Optimize latency, throughput, scalability, maintainability, and cost efficiency.
- Improve observability and SRE practices, including monitoring, alerting, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
- Partner with platform, data, and AI teams to deliver robust, production-ready integrations.
- Mentor less-experienced engineers and guide technical design and code quality.
Requirements
- Deep experience with distributed systems and scalable application design.
- Hands-on expertise with LLMs, advanced RAG patterns, agentic workflows, and agentic engineering.
- Experience designing systems for scale, resiliency, and fault tolerance.
- Experience with performance optimization, cost management, and troubleshooting complex production systems.
- Knowledge of SRE principles, observability, and incident management.
- Experience designing AI evaluation frameworks and validating model behavior.
- Technical management and mentoring ability.
- Knowledge of e-invoicing or EDI document formats such as XML, JSON, and Peppol BIS is preferred but not required.
