Base Salary
$100k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build internal applications, dashboards, and self-service workflows.
- Integrate SaaS systems and APIs and create automations that reduce repetitive manual work.
- Build and maintain data pipelines, reporting layers, and internal data-access tooling.
- Own internal platform, deployment tooling, shared services, and developer-experience foundations.
- Partner with business stakeholders to scope problems, prioritize work, and deliver measurable productivity improvements.
- Apply AI and LLMs to internal tools by building workflow automation, copilots, assistants, and AI-powered features.
- Set standards for security, reliability, and maintainability in internally built software.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production systems end to end.
- Strong full-stack ability across backend services, APIs, internal UIs, and dashboards.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and SaaS platforms and building automations and data flows.
- Experience with SQL, data pipelines, and data modeling for reporting and internal access.
- Cloud and deployment fluency, including the ability to deploy and operate owned services.
- Pragmatic, business-minded approach with clear communication with non-engineering stakeholders.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, take ownership, and drive loosely defined problems to shipped solutions.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding tools and integrating LLMs or AI APIs into shipped software, with demonstrable examples.
- Preferred experience building internal tools or business systems at a high-growth SaaS company.
- Preferred familiarity with identity, access management, security tooling, Retool, CRM, billing, support, or data warehouse systems.
