Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer goals, security challenges, and technology environments.
- Assess customer security architectures and identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Design and recommend scalable cybersecurity solutions for enterprise, hybrid, and cloud environments.
- Present security solutions, value propositions, and competitive differentiation to technical and executive audiences.
- Support product demonstrations, whiteboard sessions, technical briefings, and pre-sales proof-of-concept efforts.
- Collaborate with technology partners and vendors to validate proposed solutions.
- Provide security-focused technical enablement and training to internal sales teams.
- Ensure smooth handoffs to post-sales delivery teams and assist with statements of work for professional services.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, pre-sales engineering, or solutions architecture.
- Strong expertise in cloud-native security and experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Knowledge of CNAPP, CWPP, CIEM, CDR, identity, network security, endpoint protection, data protection, and security operations.
- Experience with security frameworks and standards including NIST, CIS, and HITRUST.
- Experience supporting sales teams in a VAR, systems integrator, or technology provider environment.
- Strong presentation, demonstration, written communication, documentation, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- Expertise with cybersecurity technologies such as Wiz, Orca, Palo Alto Networks, SentinelOne, and CrowdStrike.
- Preferred certifications include CISSP, CCSP, CISM, SSCP, and relevant cybersecurity or vendor certifications.
