Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of software features and data solutions from requirements through production release.
  • Architect, build, and deploy Java, ReactJS, Python, and REST API-based microservices and full-stack applications.
  • Build and operate cloud-native services on AWS using ECS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
  • Design, build, and deploy AI/ML algorithms and models for business-domain challenges.
  • Define data target architectures, framework guidelines, KPIs, metrics, visualizations, analytical reporting, and long-term technical roadmaps.
  • Improve reliability and performance through monitoring, troubleshooting, observability, optimization, and SRE practices.
  • Automate repetitive processes and modernize legacy code paths through software delivery automation.
  • Lead adoption and governance of approved AI-assisted engineering tools and practices, including code review, testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
  • Coach engineers and leads on responsible, secure, and compliant use of AI-assisted development tools.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 5 years of applied experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
  • Proficiency with ReactJS, Python, and at least one additional language such as Go or TypeScript.
  • Proficiency in data modeling, pipeline architecture, and enterprise storage.
  • Hands-on experience developing and deploying AI/ML models.
  • Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, cloud technologies, containers, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Advanced ability to define KPIs, build visualizations, and communicate data insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience leading enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development practices and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Preferred experience with React, Node.js, legacy-system modernization, engineering standardization, and enterprise business intelligence reporting.
