Responsibilities
- Advise clients on AI/GenAI architecture, data platforms, cloud architecture, application modernization, and enterprise technology transformation.
- Assess current application, data, cloud, integration, and AI landscapes and define target-state architectures and transformation roadmaps.
- Design solution, application, data, AI/GenAI, integration, and cloud architectures for complex enterprise environments.
- Develop architecture blueprints, technical concepts, feasibility assessments, proofs of concept, and implementation approaches.
- Design and assess enterprise GenAI solutions involving LLM integration, RAG, AI agents, orchestration, model and platform selection, AI infrastructure, security, and responsible AI.
- Help clients move AI and technology initiatives from experimentation and proofs of concept into scalable production solutions.
- Evaluate technology platforms, software solutions, cloud services, AI products, and vendors against business and technical requirements.
- Lead consulting modules and workstreams, facilitate workshops, and communicate recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Build relationships with senior client executives and support business development, proposal development, solution shaping, and project scoping.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to BCG Platinion's architecture and AI thought leadership in Southeast Asia.
Requirements
- 5-10 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in strategy, management, or technology consulting or at a leading technology organization.
- Experience in technology or enterprise architecture, with depth in solution, application, data, cloud, or AI architecture.
- Strong understanding of modern AI and GenAI architectures and their integration into enterprise technology landscapes.
- Experience with generative AI applications, LLM integration, RAG, agentic AI, orchestration, vector databases, semantic search, AI/ML platforms, MLOps/LLMOps, AI APIs, security, governance, monitoring, and responsible AI.
- Understanding of data platform architecture, including data lakes, data warehouses, lakehouses, data pipelines, and analytics platforms.
- Experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud and cloud-native architecture and deployment approaches.
- Understanding of APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, distributed systems, application modernization, DevOps, CI/CD, containers, and modern application delivery.
- Ability to perform technology assessments, architecture reviews, target-state design, and transformation roadmap development.
- Strong analytical, structured problem-solving, stakeholder management, communication, storytelling, client-facing, and consulting skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is advantageous.
- Hands-on familiarity with GenAI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent platforms.
- Ability to travel across Southeast Asia and work effectively through ambiguity with multidisciplinary teams.
