Responsibilities
- Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients and collaborate with them to bring technical visions to life.
- Lead and coach software development teams while remaining hands-on with coding and delivery.
- Oversee or participate in the full software consulting and delivery lifecycle from ideation through production evolution.
- Design solutions, select technologies, and make pragmatic tradeoffs within client constraints.
- Champion clean, reusable code, continuous delivery, DevSecOps, and other engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with teammates on features, design concepts, interactive prototypes, and user experience specifications.
- Mentor less experienced developers and foster an inclusive, supportive team culture.
Requirements
- 10–15 years of experience with Java, React, and AWS.
- Experience leading software development teams and influencing others toward technical excellence.
- Knowledge of object-oriented technology and delivery practices such as test-driven development, continuous integration, pairing, and infrastructure automation.
- Ability to develop and execute a technical vision, translate business needs into software requirements, and focus on business value.
- Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes is a bonus.
- Interest in functional programming, event-driven architecture, platform engineering, or related areas is beneficial.
