Lead Software Engineer - Fullstack(ReactJS, NodeJs, AWS, Javascript, Typescript, CI/CD)
EllucianResponsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing, delivery, deployment, and production support of scalable enterprise software.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, coaching, and delivery direction to engineering team members.
- Architect maintainable, performant, highly available, and scalable solutions aligned with functional and non-functional requirements.
- Lead technical planning, design reviews, implementation efforts, and end-to-end ownership of features and initiatives.
- Champion AI-assisted engineering practices, including responsible use, validation, security, maintainability, traceability, and cost optimization of AI-generated artifacts.
- Drive automated testing, code quality, security, reliability, performance, continuous improvement, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional engineering teams.
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and architectural impacts and develop mitigation strategies.
- Influence engineering direction through design reviews, knowledge sharing, innovation, and establishment of organizational best practices.
- Build a collaborative, inclusive, accountable, and high-performing engineering culture.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of experience developing enterprise software with Node.js, React, TypeScript, and AWS in a product-based organization.
- Strong proficiency with AI-assisted software development, including GitHub Copilot or equivalent coding assistants.
- Experience creating repository-level AI instruction files such as copilot-instructions.md.
- Strong prompt engineering skills for development, testing, and documentation workflows.
- Ability to review, validate, and refine AI-generated code before production use, with understanding of AI governance, traceability, responsible AI, and cost optimization.
- Strong experience building modern web applications with React and TypeScript.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Docker, Artifactory, GitOps, or similar technologies.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including ECS, ECR, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform or similar tools.
- Experience designing and building highly available, distributed, and scalable enterprise systems.
- Understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, data structures, software engineering practices, and quality-focused delivery.
- Proven ability to mentor and coach engineers and collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Desirable experience includes AI-assisted test generation with Playwright MCP, agentic AI workflows, MCP server integrations, relational or NoSQL databases, Selenium WebDriver, CodeUI, JUnit, JMeter, Java, performance testing, load-testing tools, and Scrum Master certification or Agile team facilitation.
