Base Salary
$173k - $251k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build customer-facing product features for document and image/multimodal processing, collaborative review, organization, translation, search, and review.
- Use AI technologies including document classification, predictive coding, transfer learning, and LLMs to find evidence rapidly.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering Operations, Security Engineering, and DevOps teams to deliver production features.
- Scale the system to support datasets containing hundreds of millions of documents.
- Mentor engineers and become an expert in an area of the codebase.
- Review other engineers’ code and apply programming, design-pattern, and software best practices.
- Triage and resolve product or system defects by debugging and writing code.
- Provide on-call support by answering customer questions, triaging defects and exceptions, and carrying the pager.
- Contribute to internal and external platform documentation.
- Conduct technical interviews to help recruit and grow the engineering team.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent coursework.
- Proficiency in a programming language such as C, C++, C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, Go, or Rust.
- Knowledge of algorithms, fundamental computer science concepts, relational databases, API design, and user-interface development.
- At least five years of experience building cloud-based distributed systems with service-based architecture, rich web applications using frontend frameworks, and maintainable, tested cloud software.
- At least one year of experience leading or coordinating multi-developer efforts, including planning and technical breakdown.
- Experience with AI development tools such as Cursor and Claude Code.
- Familiarity with AWS, MySQL, Postgres, vector databases, React, and applied AI is a plus.
