Responsibilities
- Write and maintain automated test scripts using an object-oriented Ruby, Cucumber, and Cypress framework.
- Extend the existing automation framework for web-based applications, web services, and databases.
- Execute tests, analyze and report results, and identify and track defects through their lifecycle.
- Provide testing progress, defect metrics, and reports to project teams and stakeholders.
- Define and maintain test data and improve testing processes, procedures, and standards.
- Develop subject-matter expertise in system and framework functionality and advise on the impact of system changes.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and training on testing practices.
- Drive automated testing efforts and collaborate with business and project stakeholders on testing needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 5 years of related work experience.
- Preferred skills include Cypress, JavaScript, SDET experience, and Java development.
- Knowledge of credit card operations, banking, financial services, loyalty rewards, and credit card regulatory matters is preferred.
- Ability to provide leadership and collaborate with stakeholders while working with testing teams.
- Successful completion of credit and background checks is required for employment.
