Base Salary
$127k - $191k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain and augment automation services for satellite operations.
- Manage cloud-based infrastructure services to meet internal needs.
- Evaluate and select appropriate software technologies.
- Design and deploy critical infrastructure.
- Collaborate with teams across Planet to meet mission objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or similar.
- 4+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and tooling like AWS or GCP.
- Proficient in Python programming.
- Experience with relational databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
- Familiarity with infrastructure management tools like Ansible or Kubernetes.
- Strong Linux skills and ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
