Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement reusable solutions and architectures for complex business and technology problems.
- Define software and solution designs across distributed and integrated architectures, including API and integration strategies.
- Apply cloud workload placement strategies using capabilities such as elasticity, serverless computing, and containerization.
- Incorporate security, resiliency, risk, capacity, and cost considerations into solution designs.
- Provide hands-on software implementation, fault-finding, and performance support to operational teams.
- Prepare architecture, privacy, security, records-management, and other governance documentation.
- Advise stakeholders and senior management, guide technical direction, and coach less experienced specialists.
- Support the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects to agreed plans, budgets, quality standards, and governance requirements.
Requirements
- Experience shaping and defining reusable solutions and architectures across disparate technologies to resolve complex business issues with cost-effective solutions.
- Experience with software and solution design across distributed and integrated architectures.
- Experience defining API and integration strategies for internal and external consumption.
- Hands-on technical experience building and implementing software.
- Preferred: experience with investment products or in an investment or asset management environment.
- Preferred: knowledge of technologies used by financial-services providers.
- Preferred: experience working with cloud technologies.
- Assessment may cover risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking, digital and technology, and job-specific technical skills.
