Responsibilities
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, debugging, documentation, and maintenance.
- Serve as a technical expert, create application frameworks and reusable components, and establish coding guidelines.
- Develop and maintain cloud-based solutions and support deployment practices, pipelines, and related technologies.
- Develop backend APIs and analyze code to identify and correct application errors.
- Lead and collaborate with employee and vendor technology teams in planning and execution.
- Work with end users to prototype, refine, test, and debug applications.
- Evaluate new technologies and participate in software design meetings to determine technical requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging software systems or applications in an agile environment.
- Experience implementing AWS technologies including Lambda, Step Functions, CloudWatch, CloudFront, Cognito, Route 53, DynamoDB, ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, and API Gateway.
- Experience with Git and Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting for cloud automation development.
- Proficiency in backend API development using Node.js, Java, and Python is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Spring, SQL, NoSQL, design patterns, IBM MQ, Solace, Kafka, JMS, and APM observability tools.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
- Airline industry experience is preferred.

- The base pay range is $112,480.00 to $146,540.00 per year, with eligibility for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
