Base Salary
$114k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality production software solutions.
- Build and maintain algorithms and applications that integrate appropriately with surrounding systems.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI coding assistance for code generation, refactoring, testing, documentation, and automation while validating outputs through review and testing.
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure software implementations satisfy design constraints.
- Identify patterns in data and hidden technical problems to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and emerging-technology events.
- Support a diverse, inclusive, respectful, and collaborative team culture.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Experience with full-stack development using Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and React.
- Hands-on experience with HTTP, XML, REST, HTML, microservice architecture, or API concepts.
- Experience with Kafka and web-based version control tools such as Git and Bitbucket.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and evaluating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture and understanding of J2EE design patterns.
- Experience with DevOps build, deployment, integration, and code-management tools such as Jenkins and Maven.
- Experience with agile software development methodologies.
- Preferred experience with modern front-end technologies, domain-driven design, AWS, and Cloud Foundry.
