Responsibilities
- Analyze end-to-end Microsoft sales processes, workflows, and data flows to identify opportunities for simplification, automation, and agentic experiences.
- Rapidly prototype proofs of concept and iterate using an experimentation-driven engineering approach.
- Design, build, test, debug, and ship scalable production-quality features and intelligent services.
- Integrate systems, data, and signals into cohesive AI-powered workflows across teams.
- Troubleshoot and improve system reliability and performance using telemetry and diagnostics.
- Build secure, compliant, responsible AI solutions suitable for production scale.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous learning and engineering excellence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience with hands-on coding in C#, Java, Python, or React.
- Proficiency with AI-native development, including agent harnesses, GitHub Copilot CLI, coding agents, Markdown specifications and ADRs, YAML configurations, multi-step agentic workflows, and review of agent-generated code and pull requests.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and scalable systems.
- Experience building, testing, debugging, and maintaining production-quality software while leveraging large language models.
- Strong problem-solving and technical judgment skills, including the ability to design scoped solutions, debug complex issues, and improve service performance.
- Preferred experience with cloud platforms, distributed or service-oriented architecture, reliability, monitoring, performance optimization, collaboration, communication, and design reviews.
- Interest in building impactful, user-facing AI solutions.
