Base Salary
$70k - $80k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop Java applications using Spring-based frameworks, preferably Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain microservices-based applications for cloud environments.
- Develop messaging integrations using RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Service Bus.
- Build applications backed by Oracle, PostgreSQL, and similar databases.
- Build and consume API-based integrations.
- Use CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins.
- Apply software testing approaches and tools including JUnit, Cucumber, and Selenium.
- Use chaos testing and SRE practices to build resilient cloud software applications.
- Collaborate to address complex customer needs and transactions and support continuous engineering improvement.
Requirements
- Solid experience with Java and Spring-based frameworks and libraries, preferably Spring Boot.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud and cloud-based technologies, with Microsoft Azure preferred.
- Hands-on experience with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Service Bus.
- Experience building applications with databases such as Oracle and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with API-based integration and microservices architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience with software application testing approaches and tools such as JUnit, Cucumber, and Selenium.
- Experience with chaos testing and SRE practices for highly resilient cloud applications.
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
