Responsibilities
- Own the CI/CD and automation platform that delivers Market Intelligence data pipelines and services.
- Design and implement resilient cloud-native infrastructure for large-scale data ingestion, processing, and serving workloads.
- Use infrastructure as code to provision, manage, and version compute, networking, storage, and security resources across environments.
- Containerize applications and operate container orchestration clusters for scalable, fault-tolerant services.
- Develop and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting for end-to-end visibility, automated incident response, and service-level objectives.
- Automate deployment, configuration management, and testing to reduce manual effort and accelerate delivery.
- Partner with data engineers, researchers, and Compliance on secure, compliant, and observable infrastructure solutions.
- Lead post-incident reviews and continuous-improvement initiatives.
- Mentor colleagues, guide platform tooling decisions, and contribute to the technical roadmap for data engineering capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, site reliability engineering, or infrastructure engineering supporting production systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent technical experience.
- At least 3 years of experience designing and operating public cloud infrastructure across compute, networking, storage, and identity services.
- At least 3 years of experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- At least 3 years of experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or similar tooling.
- Strong scripting and programming skills in Python, Bash, or a comparable language, with experience using source control workflows.
- Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using modern observability tools and dashboards.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and incident-response skills in Linux environments, including diagnosing complex production issues.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
