Responsibilities
- Design and develop full-stack .NET solutions for EY’s Tax Technology and Tax practice.
- Develop and test applications through their logical life cycles.
- Estimate technical effort, create work breakdown structures, assess risks, and define solution approaches.
- Monitor adherence to methodologies, tools, and KPIs.
- Manage communication and stakeholders across teams and work collaboratively with client and internal teams.
- Provide input into application development and engineering methodologies, standards, and leading practices.
- Identify problems, evaluate causes and solutions, and lead appropriate resolution.
- Provide supervision and direction to team members and staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, BE, BTech, MCA, or equivalent work experience.
- Master’s degree is preferred.
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in full-stack .NET development.
- Experience with .NET, .NET Core, MVC, single-page applications, design patterns, TypeScript, Angular or Vue, Web API, Entity Framework or ADO.NET, SQL commands, stored procedures, and database performance tuning.
- Exposure to third-party controls such as Telerik or Kendo UI.
- Working knowledge of development methodologies, Git or TFVC version control, and CI/CD.
- Strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Tax or finance domain knowledge is preferred, and management experience is a plus.
