Base Salary
$119k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own product- and team-level solution design and delivery architecture within a value stream.
- Design and document application, integration, data, and infrastructure components.
- Partner with Product Owners, Tech Leads, Enterprise Architecture, and platform teams on roadmaps, MVP scope, trade-offs, and enterprise patterns.
- Ensure solutions follow architecture standards, security requirements, and design patterns.
- Identify and resolve technical dependencies and delivery impediments.
- Provide hands-on guidance on design quality, code structure, and technical approaches.
- Lead proofs of concept, mentor engineers, reduce technical debt, and improve delivery efficiency.
- Support major production incidents affecting business operations.
Requirements
- Strong experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, data integration, and modern application architectures.
- Experience designing hybrid architectures spanning on-premises systems and public cloud, including knowledge of cloud provider services.
- Experience working in Agile or product-based delivery models.
- Proven experience architecting large-scale, business-critical systems in the insurance domain.
- Good understanding of GenAI frameworks, tools, and best practices.
- Ability to balance speed, quality, risk, and long-term sustainability in technical decisions.
- Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts to business and delivery stakeholders.
- Experience producing product-level and team-level technical design documentation.
