Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering POD from a technical delivery perspective and ensure predictable sprint delivery.
- Design and develop enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
- Develop APIs and integrate applications with internal and external systems.
- Design and implement event-driven solutions using messaging platforms such as GCP Pub/Sub, Apache Kafka, and RabbitMQ.
- Design and work with distributed, high-volume database platforms.
- Support containerized application delivery using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based workflows.
- Use Google Cloud Platform services including GKE, Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, Cloud Run, Secret Manager, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Monitoring.
- Design, build, test, deploy, and support scalable, secure, cloud-native applications.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of enterprise software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Java 17/21, Spring Boot 3.0 and above, and Spring Framework 6 and above.
- Experience with microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, distributed databases, cloud-native engineering, Kubernetes, and production-grade system design.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, Cloud SQL, Cloud Spanner, CockroachDB, YugabyteDB, Cassandra, MongoDB, or equivalent database platforms.
- Experience with Docker, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, Git-based workflows, and Google Cloud Platform services.
- Knowledge or practical exposure to Agentic AI, autonomous workflow execution, LLM-based application development, AI-assisted software engineering, or prompt engineering is advantageous.
