Base Salary
$104k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design scalable and performant applications, systems, and infrastructure for large software projects using MongoDB.
- Advise customers on MongoDB architecture patterns, optimization strategies, and business value.
- Partner with sales teams on technical discovery, demos, proof-of-value engagements, presentations, sizing, documentation, account planning, and pipeline strategy.
- Generate demand through technical initiatives, industry trade shows, and account-based marketing events.
- Build customer relationships, develop champions, and drive customer success and satisfaction.
- Relay field feedback to the product team and mentor other Solutions Consulting team members.
- Maintain ongoing product and industry expertise through training and professional development.
Requirements
- Ideally 8–11 years of related customer-facing experience, including 5–7 years in pre-sales with enterprise software.
- At least 3 years of professional experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, Node.js, SQL, C/C++, Java, or C#.
- Experience designing scalable, highly available distributed systems in cloud and on-premises environments.
- Ability to review complex application architectures and recommend improvements using technology.
- Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills for explaining complex technical and business concepts.
- Ability to strategize with sales teams and coordinate resources around multi-threaded account strategies.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred qualifications include database sales or application deployment with major cloud providers, database programming and data models, data engineering or AI/ML projects, legacy modernization, sales methodology knowledge, MongoDB Certification, and cloud provider certification.
