Responsibilities
- Gather functional requirements, develop technical specifications, and plan projects and testing.
- Design and develop applications, prototypes, and proofs of concept.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership through architecture, coding, code reviews, and design contributions.
- Mentor junior engineers and new team members while solving complex programming and design problems.
- Shape short- and long-term ecosystem and platform strategy and drive delivery through clear incremental steps.
- Support execution teams with complex development and operational challenges and own end-to-end deliverable quality.
- Work cross-functionally with product management, product lines, business units, and other Intuit teams.
- Evaluate industry trends and recommend emerging technologies to meet business goals or simplify existing processes.
- Contribute to, leverage, and lead open-source community projects.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience architecting and designing Oracle ERP and SaaS offerings and leading design for complex finance applications.
- Hands-on coding and code review experience, with approximately 50% of time spent coding.
- BTech or MTech in computer science, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with unit testing, Test Driven Development, domain-driven modeling, and hexagonal architecture.
- Expertise in software design and architecture processes.
- Experience with RESTful or GraphQL web services and technologies including Java, Spring Boot, DynamoDB, React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, Camunda, AWS, Oracle SQL, or PL/SQL.
- Experience delivering highly complex technical capabilities leveraged across an organization.
- Ability to work across organizational, technological, and governance boundaries and define system interfaces.
- Experience with Agile Development, Scrum, or Extreme Programming methodologies.
- Self-starter attitude and willingness to investigate and solve problems independently.
