Responsibilities
- Own and drive complex escalated issues from intake through resolution.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting, debugging, log analysis, memory-dump analysis, performance tracing, and system-level diagnostics.
- Build scripts, automation, and test environments to reproduce issues.
- Support Windows, macOS, and Linux environments across AWS, Azure, and local infrastructure.
- Partner with R&D teams on defect reporting, reproduction data, proposed fixes, and pull requests.
- Identify recurring issues and improve automation, observability, workflows, and operational processes.
- Collaborate with Support, Product, Problem Management, and Principal Engineers on large-scale investigations.
- Document findings, workflows, technical learnings, diagnostics strategy, and data-flow improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in software development or a related role.
- Experience with Windows, macOS, Linux, AWS, and Azure.
- Experience with Elastic Stack, Kibana, logging pipelines, scripting, automation, databases, data platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, Zendesk, Jira, WinDbg, ETW/XPerf, and REST APIs.
- Proficiency or experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ruby, MS SQL, MySQL, Athena, and Databricks.
- Candidates interviewing remotely are expected to be on camera during video interviews, subject to stated accommodations.
