Responsibilities

Own features from requirements and technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and post-release stability.
Build across frontend experiences, backend services and APIs, and data-layer solutions.
Write clean, testable, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
Design reusable solutions with sound API, data, and component boundaries.
Identify technical risks and delivery blockers and propose solutions.
Contribute to platform-level API design, performance, and service reliability work.
Collaborate with Quality Engineering, Platform, Architecture, Infrastructure, engineering peers, and non-technical stakeholders.
Mentor less experienced engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing.
Participate in sprint planning and other team ceremonies and remain accountable for commitments.

At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience with demonstrated delivery across frontend, backend, and data layers.
Proven ability to own features end to end with accountability for quality, stability, and outcomes.
Strong software design fundamentals, including API design, data modeling, separation of concerns, and component boundaries.
Ability to work independently with ambiguous requirements and drive work to completion.
Demonstrated ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to team culture and code quality.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining technical decisions and tradeoffs.
Preferred experience in regulated industries or with compliance, security, risk management platforms, GRC, FedRAMP, or NIST.
Preferred background in enterprise SaaS companies and scaling environments.
Familiarity with Azure or comparable cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
Experience with observability, performance profiling, and diagnosing production issues is preferred.
Exposure to AI and ML integration in product engineering contexts is preferred.
