Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, and evaluate assigned software projects using engineering principles and product requirements.
- Design and code complex software features with appropriate documentation.
- Write automation for new and existing features.
- Troubleshoot and fix difficult software problems and communicate development status and delays.
- Interface with global teams for requirements analysis and scheduling.
- Work with external customers regarding software issues.
- Travel to onsite locations for short-term feature integrations and version installations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering with a Computer Science, Electronics, or Electrical background.
- 7–10 years of experience is listed, including at least 6 years in software development and at least 3 years in core product software development.
- Strong object-oriented design and programming experience.
- Professional experience with Core Java technologies, including design patterns, multithreading, data structures, and algorithms.
- Exposure to continuous integration, releases, Agile methodologies, and toolchains such as JIRA.
- Knowledge of software development best practices and how the role’s area integrates with others.
