Application Engineer (AI Automation)
Pure StorageResponsibilities
- Design and implement MCP servers exposing Salesforce Quote, Opportunity, Renewal, and other platform services to AI agents.
- Decompose Zuora, Salesforce, and ServiceNow data models to create schemas for AI interaction.
- Develop and optimize RAG workflows and AI agents that execute complex tasks with minimal human intervention.
- Orchestrate multi-agent collaboration and Agent-to-Agent communication.
- Build and maintain secure, scalable REST API integrations across cloud environments.
- Guide the AI automation strategy as a subject matter expert and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Expert proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript or Java.
- Mandatory knowledge of the Salesforce Sales Cloud API and object model; Apex knowledge is a plus.
- Proven experience building AI agents with MCP and implementing RAG architectures.
- Deep expertise designing and consuming RESTful APIs and handling complex authentication and OAuth flows.
- Ability to independently learn new tools, understand documentation, and analyze underlying data relationships.
- Familiarity with Pinecone, Weaviate, or Milvus is preferred.
- Background in SalesOps automation, particularly Quote-to-Cash processes, is preferred.
- Contributions to open-source MCP servers or AI frameworks are preferred.
