Base Salary
$166k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop security-focused technology products for Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 using TypeScript, Kubernetes, and BigQuery.
- Implement secure software development lifecycle practices, version control, and code reviews through pull requests.
- Participate in technical design discussions, conduct research, and produce architecture documents for new features and systems.
- Participate in the engineering on-call rotation to triage and address bugs and reliability issues using monitoring and alerting tools such as Sentry and PagerDuty.
- Support the customer support team by answering software questions and assisting with high-priority inbound customer requests.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a closely related field.
- Three years of experience in the offered role or related occupations.
- One year of experience with Agile development practices, including Scrum, sprint planning, and iteration reviews.
- At least 1.5 years of experience with backend web development, unit and integration testing, production issue triage, Kubernetes, Node, GCP tooling such as BigQuery and Datastore, Test Driven Development, API design, CI/CD pipelines, web security best practices, scalability, responsive design, and ReactJS.
- Two years of experience in frontend web development.
- Three years of experience with data storage and querying, Git/GitHub, and SQL.
