Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements, technology architectures, system dependencies, and application stacks.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional requirements.
- Improve automation frameworks and build reusable libraries across technology stacks and business lines.
- Create test plans, test cases, scenarios, usage cases, acceptance criteria, and automation backlogs.
- Track test coverage, defects, resolutions, bug fixes, deployment risks, and quality metrics.
- Develop automated testing tools and software validation processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with Agile delivery, development, testing, business, client, and support teams.
- Contribute to continuous deployment strategies, processes, and tools.
- Perform backend/database programming for key projects and document automation processes according to Wipro standards.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional experience.
- Mandatory experience with API automation testing.
- Experience designing, developing, and executing automated testing solutions.
- Ability to test functional, regression, performance, and non-functional requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex technical designs, resolve issues, and track defects through mitigation.
- Ability to collaborate with development teams, business subject matter experts, testers, users, and clients.
- Ability to perform backend/database programming and maintain technical documentation.
