Responsibilities

  • Translate customer requirements into internal software requirements and support technical clarification and breakdown.
  • Track software requirements and defects from definition through implementation and verification.
  • Tailor requirements and defect-management processes to project needs and assign work based on software architecture.
  • Monitor, report, and maintain traceability for requirements and implementation errors.
  • Perform pre-analysis and tracking of reported software defects and support life-cycle process definition.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of work experience.
  • Experience with the software development life cycle, especially requirements and defect management, including IREB or GfSE standards.
  • Advanced proficiency with requirements and task-tracking tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence, or DOORS.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for customer and internal audiences, with good spoken and written English.
  • Preferred qualifications include project, stakeholder, supplier, configuration, and documentation management experience; cybersecurity knowledge; agile execution experience; Automotive SPICE or CMMI experience; and speech-recognition or related technology experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel macros, Pivot Tables, and Python scripting is preferred.
