Responsibilities
- Ensure availability, stability, observability, and scalability of the data platform.
- Lead design and delivery of platform features.
- Implement best practices for partitioning, indexing, and resource optimization.
- Treat platform as a product and define KPIs for usage and performance.
- Write modular, testable, and maintainable code.
- Collaborate across teams and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- 7–10 years in platform/data engineering.
- Proficient in Python, Shell, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform, and Linux-based systems.
- Hands-on experience with Azure/GCP/AWS and modern orchestration tools.
- Ability to design scalable, fault-tolerant systems.
- Experience with data access policies and incident management.
