Responsibilities
- Design and build features for next-generation SmartNICs and DPU-based AI infrastructure.
- Develop multi-threaded embedded Linux applications and infrastructure.
- Perform firmware development, embedded-systems development, hardware and system bring-up, and Linux kernel or driver programming.
- Work with networking or storage stacks including DOCA, TCP/IP, NVMe, PCIe, and DPDK.
- Collaborate with DPU and GPU manufacturers and participate in technical decision-making, troubleshooting, and cross-functional teamwork.
Requirements
- Proficiency with C/C++ and P4 programming.
- Scripting proficiency in Python or a similar language.
- Hands-on experience with multi-threaded embedded Linux application or infrastructure development.
- Experience with firmware, embedded systems, Linux, Linux kernel or driver programming, virtualization technologies, and Intel, AMD, or ARM architectures.
- Experience with one or more of DOCA, TCP/IP, NVMe, PCIe, or DPDK.
- Experience in CI/CD environments, system-level testing and automation, cloud platforms, and large-scale distributed systems.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience is stated in the role-specific qualifications; the minimum qualifications also list alternative pathways including 8 years of software development, a bachelor's degree plus 4 years, a master's degree plus 2 years, or a doctorate.
- Demonstrated knowledge of distributed systems, prototyping, computer science principles, software engineering, operating systems, API development and integration, algorithms, source control, and vulnerability mitigation.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, self-management, and learning skills.
