Responsibilities
- Design and build features on next-generation SmartNICs and DPUs for AI infrastructure.
- Develop multi-threaded embedded Linux applications and infrastructure.
- Develop firmware and embedded systems software.
- Program Linux kernels and drivers and support hardware or system bring-up.
- Work with networking and storage stacks such as DOCA, TCP/IP, NVMe, PCIe, and DPDK.
- Participate in technical decision-making, discussions, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Develop, test, and maintain software, APIs, integrations, and scalable distributed systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, electrical/electronics engineering, or related field, or equivalent; advanced degrees are a plus.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience is stated in the role-specific qualifications; the minimum qualifications also list alternatives requiring 2, 4, or 8 years depending on education.
- Proficiency with C/C++, P4, and Python scripting.
- Hands-on experience with multi-threaded embedded Linux application or infrastructure development, firmware, embedded systems, Linux kernel and driver programming, and Linux.
- Experience with one or more networking or storage stacks, including DOCA, TCP/IP, NVMe, PCIe, or DPDK.
- Knowledge of Intel, AMD, or ARM computer architectures and experience with hardware or system bring-up.
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as SR-IOV and VirtIO.
- Experience in CI/CD environments, system-level testing and automation, cloud platforms, and large-scale distributed systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of software engineering, operating systems, APIs, algorithms, source control, vulnerability mitigation, web development, prototyping, and distributed systems.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, troubleshooting, communication, organization, self-management, and collaboration skills.
