Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions with strong quality, scalability, performance, and security.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers while contributing to coding, code reviews, architecture, and troubleshooting.
- Define and prioritize the technical roadmap and own the technical vision for the product area.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and user stories while aligning solutions with business objectives.
- Establish coding standards, architectural guidelines, and engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, business leaders, architects, operations, and engineering teams.
- Communicate technical concepts, progress, and challenges to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Represent engineering in cross-functional meetings and serve as a liaison between engineering and the broader business.
- Use AI tools to improve productivity and workflows while applying responsible judgment to data and AI outputs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 12 years of industry experience.
- Proven full-stack development experience with a strong focus on Java.
- Extensive experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.
- In-depth knowledge of microservices architecture and design patterns.
- Proficiency with Hibernate and JPA for object-relational mapping.
- Experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Practical experience with Docker for containerization and Google Cloud Platform for application deployment and management.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Git for version control.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, and technical-roadmap skills.
- Ability to bridge business requirements and technical architecture documents.
