Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Improve the full lifecycle of services from inception and design through deployment, operation, and refinement.
- Analyze ITSM activities, identify operational gaps and resiliency concerns, and provide feedback to development teams.
- Support services before launch through system design consulting, capacity planning, and launch reviews.
- Monitor availability, latency, and overall system health for live services.
- Scale systems through automation and drive changes that improve reliability and delivery velocity.
- Support CI/CD promotion into higher environments through validation and operational gating.
- Lead DevOps automation and best practices.
- Practice sustainable incident response and conduct blameless post-mortems.
- Troubleshoot production events across the technology stack to optimize mean time to recover.
- Collaborate with global teams across multiple geographies and time zones.
- Share knowledge and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding, such as physics or mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with algorithms, data structures, scripting, pipeline management, and software design.
- Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks.
- Experience supporting production AI, machine learning, data platforms, or large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience with one or more of C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl, or Ruby is preferred.
- Experience working across development, operations, and product teams to prioritize needs and build relationships.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git or Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, and Chef.
- Experience designing and implementing efficient CI/CD flows from development to production is desired.
- Strong communication, systematic problem-solving, ownership, urgency, and ability to handle difficult situations.
- Advanced conversational English and Spanish are essential and will be evaluated.
- Foreign nationals residing in Mexico must have a valid INE, CURP, NSS, and RFC.
