Senior Solutions Engineer, Enterprise
AlertMediaResponsibilities
- Partner with Enterprise Account Executives to develop technical strategy and secure technical wins.
- Lead consultative discovery sessions and translate customer objectives, environments, architectures, integration requirements, and constraints into technical solution strategies.
- Deliver tailored, value-based product demonstrations for technical and executive audiences.
- Design and guide technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and pilot programs.
- Explain APIs, webhooks, authentication, data flows, integration patterns, and implementation considerations.
- Identify technical risks and develop solutions that remove adoption obstacles.
- Own technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, compliance discussions, and technical documentation.
- Document technical best practices and improve presales processes.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing to communicate customer feedback and product opportunities.
- Stay current on enterprise technology, industry trends, and AlertMedia platform capabilities.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Pre-Sales Engineering experience supporting enterprise SaaS customers.
- Experience partnering with Enterprise Account Executives on complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Experience leading technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical evaluations.
- Strong technical fluency with REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, webhooks, SSO, SAML, OAuth, cloud applications, enterprise integrations, and modern SaaS architecture.
- Experience responding to RFPs, security reviews, and technical due diligence for enterprise customers.
- Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, technical research, customer-facing deliverables, or presales workflows.
- Strong communication, presentation, storytelling, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar is preferred.
- Basic scripting experience with JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, or similar is preferred.
- Familiarity with enterprise security concepts, compliance frameworks, and technical evaluation or procurement processes is preferred.
