Base Salary

$160k - $188k/yr

Responsibilities

Design and implement microservice architectures and component-based web interfaces using Java, Spring, and React.
Develop high-throughput, real-time messaging and notification systems using Apache Kafka.
Automate build, containerization, and deployment through Jenkins, Docker, SonarQube, and deployment tooling.
Develop and execute automated unit and integration tests using JUnit, Citrus, and Claude-assisted test creation.
Build data-centric solutions using Apache Flink, Apache Spark, and Kafka Streams.
Optimize application performance through analysis, refactoring, and system tuning.
Participate in user-story creation and review, effort estimation, and architecture and design improvements.
Ensure systems meet functional, architectural, performance, audit, security, quality, and reporting requirements.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Five years of experience as a software developer, software engineer, systems engineer, or in a related role.
Work experience designing Java, Spring, and React microservice and web-interface solutions.
Work experience developing high-throughput real-time messaging systems with Apache Kafka.
Work experience creating automated unit and integration tests with JUnit and Claude-assisted test generation.
Work experience automating build, containerization, and deployment with Jenkins, Docker, and SonarQube.
