Responsibilities
- Develop applications using modern programming languages and KDB+/q.
- Learn and apply DevOps and automation practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in the software development lifecycle, testing, and production support.
- Use database knowledge and SQL in financial or data-intensive applications.
- Collaborate effectively while taking ownership of assigned work.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software development experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of RDBMS concepts and SQL.
- Experience with at least one modern programming language, such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing, and production support.
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
- Preferred: exposure to Linux/Unix environments.
- Preferred: experience in financial services or data-intensive applications.
- Prior KDB+/q knowledge is not required, but candidates must demonstrate willingness and capability to learn it.
