Base Salary
$120k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and ownership of enterprise-scale marketing data products.
- Architect and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and lakehouse solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure, OneLake, and related services.
- Design semantic models, metrics, measures, and calculations using DAX and Direct Lake.
- Own data architecture across modeling, ingestion, transformation, storage, governance, security, and consumption.
- Partner with stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for assigned marketing data domains and ensure data quality, governance, accessibility, and alignment.
- Build data quality, observability, monitoring, and operational dashboard solutions.
- Implement Medallion Architecture and domain-driven data product strategies.
- Drive CI/CD automation, deployment standards, infrastructure-as-code practices, and DevOps excellence.
- Review and govern AI-generated code, infrastructure definitions, documentation, tests, and data transformations.
- Mentor engineers through technical leadership, architecture guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Influence long-term data strategy and evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and Fabric innovations.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Equivalent experience may substitute for the stated education and experience combinations.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant master’s degree and 6+ years of experience or a relevant bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with data governance, data compliance, and/or data security is preferred.
- Proficiency in designing data architectures, data models, and scalable data platforms.
- Strong analytical, technical decision-making, communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills.
Benefits
- U.S. base pay range of $119,800–$234,700 per year, with a separate San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area range of $160,200–$261,000 per year.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
